So I’ve been playing Halo since CE, but only now in H5 am I really getting into multiplayer. I honestly want to get better, and I don’t wish to come off as I a hater or whine and complain about the game.
I really enjoy SWAT and sometimes play warzone. At the time of typing this I am a platinum 4 in SWAT so I guess I’m not that horrible at Halo, however I don’t really feel like I am improving as a player. Maybe some more experienced players can give give me some tips on how I can learn and improve my skills?
I could use some help too.
I try not to run around a lot in swat. Sometimes it works but if you are playing against a group of people usually running around might get you killed more.
Practice with the basics i guess
I suggest WA to get comfortable with pistols and BTB for the differenr game types and weapons
Some people call it camping i call it strategic map positioning

This, in general, you shouldn’t needlessly sprint unless you’re in a rather clear area and need to quickly get from one place to the next.
Other than that, I would suggest trying to develop a skillset with each of the weapons, and become knowledgeable of how they function. Smart Scope also factors into it.
Learning the subtleties of the sandbox can help quite a bit at getting better. Even if those elements are used against you.
and if you play on a high sensitivity you might find it harder to land those essential head shots.
