I believe that beign able to identify your enemies clearly from your allies is a key component on every halo game, on this tests its been pretty hard to identify an enemy from an ally when in crowded situations or when to shoot at a distance, I tried changed the colors on my UI and evertyhing possible and still find it hard to identify them, mayb e is just me, what do you guys think?
Also I remember the huge tringle marking where your allies were and when they died, I find it kind of hard to see on infinite
It’s really that with all the cosmetic stuff there will be, it’s so when you buy stuff it’s not covered up in red or blue anymore. Although an option to switch between that and original red and blue would be nice.
On the 1st flight it was a real chore with the new outlines, but now on 2nd flight it feels more normal to me, do wish they would turn team mate damage back on, at the moment can just lob grenades and rockets around without fear of blowing up a team mate, It kind of takes the skill away from killing an enemy without killing a team member
In additional to the outline color options, I would just like an option to remove them completely from friend and foe separately.
I think I would rather there be no outlines around anyone, and just call tag above teammates. But still let everyone pick whatever colors they want for armor. Maybe they can still default shield colors to whatever color is picked, but not show the entire outline. This should also make it easier to see when shields pop, and when shields are down.
Especially in BTB, there are just way too many names, outlines, objectives, arrows, etc all on screen / HUD at one time. Makes the game look cheap and poorly designed. I eventually just turned off all names besides those in my fireteam, so it wasn’t completely cluttered on screen.
