Fricking GRENADES!!

its ridiculous it takes ages with a BR to get a kill without nades so people just spam and spam and spam and there really isnt any skill involved unless you count throwing a metal rock that explodes where you want it too as a skill. i hardly ever throw grenades because i suck at throwing a metal rock that explodes andin CoD which i used to play anyone hardly ever throws nades because they arnt as explosive as halo’s so how the bloody hell do you avoid grenades!!

Did you just start playing Halo? The BR takes practice. After a while, you won’t need necessarily need grenades to get kills with it. However, you should be using grenades. You’ve got throw them at the proper angle and learn when to use them at the right time. For example, when you see someone closing in on the radar, throw one at the floor as they come in. Listen for when you hear the impact of the grenade hitting the floor.1 These games play very differently from Call of Duty. You can’t really compare them.

Hope this helps.

Stopped reading there. Look, Halo’s average time to kill is far longer than CoD’s, this is true, but don’t just dismiss the game because of that. Practice aiming for the head. Halo is all about headshots. The BR can kill in four bursts to the head. Killing with body shots takes longer. If you can practice enough, and get to the point where you can consistently hit the head, you will get kills much faster.

As for the grenade spam, people will use grenades to try to flush you out of cover. If your shields go down in a gunfight, fall back around a corner, and back away from it. Don’t crouch and wait right by the corner or else you’ll get naded. Sometimes you need to know when to flee a fight. Also be aware that people can see you on their motion sensors unless you crouch walk. If they see you coming around a corner at them, expect them to throw a grenade as you come around to immediately down your shields so they can finish you with a headshot. Other times, people will just throw grenades as a desperation move because you have them almost dead. Keep strafing and jump around a bit and they should be pretty easy to avoid.

Halo requires you to think. It’s going to take practice before you can do as well as you probably did in CoD.

nades will always make people rage
