Frequently disconnecting from local network.

Any way to help solve this problem? It happens way to often.

This sounds like a network issue on your end. You playing wired or wireless?

Wireless atm.

You’re gonna wanna connect wired and see if you keep getting disconnected.

I don’t think I am able to from my room as the router is in the basement. My room is the farthest from the router. How do I get wired?

Can you bring your console up to the router to test it near that?

I can try.

In case you are disconnected from your own wireless network here are a few things to look for:

  1. wireless signal strength (your XBO tells you that in a percent value)
  2. wireless channel congestion (there are only a very limited number of channels and the more wireless devices you have the worse it gets - that includes your neighbor’s wireless devices if they are close enough to your own wireless network and include devices like cordless phones - they use the same channels/frequencies as wireless networks do)
  3. issues with the router itself (overheating, frequent resets do to hardware failure, etc)

Thanks, I’ll look into that.
