This has been happening mostly today - I’ll play a game in covenant slayer, then the game volume in my headset will kind of lag and I get disconnected. It then kicks me out to the title screen and sayings I’m offline, but when I dashboard I’m still connected to the internet? Is this due to Halo 5 servers or is it something to do with my connection? So far, the ONLY game that does this is H5.
You can check xbox status here: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status?icid=furl_status
The H5 servers are tied to xbox live status.
In order to improve your connection, make sure you are wired with an open NAT. The game is very unstable on wifi and you will have random disconnects. Going wired solved most disconnects with me.
