Issue: This is unacceptable. Lately, me and a couple of my friends have completely lost our placement rank due to the unreasonably high disconnection rates despite all of us having solid internet connections. I assumed that it could be due to something more, such as our NAT type but as it turns out the only solid conclusion I came to was the poor Halo Wars 2 servers.
I am not sorry, but I really hope you guys at 343 and Creative Assembly read the posts on the support forums. You have officially lost me as a loyal customer and player for any of your future projects, at-least until I can see some major changes. The amount of unbalancing issues, bugs, and terrible servers cannot be made up for by releasing paid DLC.
Just so I don’t sound like I’m only complaining, I’ll actually offer a piece of advice for a solution. Instead of releasing new content funded by silly micro-transactions every month you guys need to focus making your game stable and actually playable. Fix your bugs, fix the latency issues, listen to the community, make unit balancing adjustments that ACTUALLY make sense (i.e why can’t hunters run and shoot but cyclops can? why are lotus able to shoot and run making them impossible to catch up to?), and more importantly acknowledge your wrong doings instead of saying: “Hey we have a new leader, and oh yeah here are some new updates I guess!”. This game runs as bad as an early access game. On top of all this what makes things worst is that when there is a new leader it only creates NEW and MORE unbalancing issues for the community such as Kinsano’s turret ability everyone complains about.
I wanted to give this game the benefit of the doubt, I wanted to like it but due to the terrible unreasonable issues I can’t. I’m not the only one who shares this opinion, there’s a reason why online players will frequently run into the same players over and over again. That is because the community is slowly dying from this buggy, and now unbalanced rush-stale game. Fix your foundation before adding furniture.
I just want guys to know that I’ve been a Halo fan for well over 10 years and when 343 took over I was very excited. I’ve put thousands of hours worth of game-play in Halo Wars 1 and with Halo 4 & 5 I’ve also put a great amount of time playing those game as well. The reason why I am upset is because I expect so much out of this title and given 343’s caliber I only expect exceptional results.
