We’re four months into 2019 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection has already crashed to the dashboard on me three or four times. While the first few times would happen when loading up Campaign missions (even when playing alone,) this most recent instance happened completely at random during a Halo 4 Campaign mission (again, playing alone.)
There’s absolutely no way this is just coincidentally happening to me this frequently, but nobody else. If this is happening to you too, please comment below about what happened so that we can bring it to 343i’s attention.
Have you used the Xbox’s “Report A Problem” feature? This would send the data of what happened during the incident to 343 directly which they can analyze and determine the cause of the problem. It has to be reported immediately after the issue happens.

Isn’t that just for general Xbox problems such as games not launching? Because this is a bug with Halo: The Master Chief Collection specifically.

No you can report problems with any game you’re currently playing. After clicking “Report A Problem” it’ll give you a few categories one being games. From there it will let you go down a list of the games you’re playing such as MCC and from there report the issue.

So I’ve been all over my Xbox One, and outside of some automated reporting feature I’m not seeing a single option for directly reporting something manually, and everything I read online - even on the Microsoft website - seem to be from a much older user interface with options which no longer exist. They say to hold the Xbox button on the controller followed by selecting “report a problem,” but there is no such option.
The game crashed on me again just from selecting Halo 2 Classic Custom Games.
EDIT: Make that two crashes in a row from loading up Halo 2 Classic.
You may need to join the Xbox Insider Program to be able to have access to that feature. It doesn’t require anything special to join.
