I would demand (if we can suggest) a “general discussion” for the french part of the community. Because, i am also a fan of Halo but im not that perfect on english to only speak it.
Sure i can understand the major part of what i read but when i need to explain myself… Well its not easy.
I know what i want to say but i don’t know how to say it but if i was able to say it in french it would be so much easier.
Also, you kick a part of your community by simply reject them (i mean don’t put a special part for them). Its sad because even if we not speak the same language we love the same game and the same universe.
I will really love to see a “french section” on the forum in a near future because its sad to see a divised community like that, yes i know that the french part have haters too but its not a reason to stop the whole FR community.
(Sorry if its seems wierd to read, like i said, i can explain myself better in fr)

While it would nice to do this for non-english speakers, it would pave the way for having to create multiple sub-forums for various other languages. This would mean creating quite a lot of forums with each needing to be set up and moderated appropriately, which Waypoint just isn’t set up to handle at this point I’m afraid.
I understand, but i think we can solve these problems.
Don’t need to create sub-forum per language, just a section called “Other Languages” where it will have only 1 discussion per language.
Exemple :
-General discussion FR
-General discussion NL
-General discussion ES
…
A simple “general discussion” by languages (those who are active, don’t need to put a Italian section if there is no italians to fill it). In there they will be able to speak about anything, halo games, books, universe, etc… But also about news. Well a mix of all but in one and same part.
I know that each of them will need to be moderated that’s why i propose to add them one at a time. For the moderator of the section it will be your decision to chose who will moderate but for the first months of the section there will be votes between members to decide if the moderator need to be changed or not.
Now, i know that it may be a fail, but for me (and that’s normal i would say xD) we need to give it a try.
But even after all i have say above, i can easly understand why it will not be possible.
And i trust that you do whatever you can do to make this community better.

That would be awesome. The website itself is already translated, so why not adding these sections? Many non-english speakers would love to share their opinions, storys and to expand their friendlists for Halo.
