Freezing + Awful Sound, Crash to Home?

Am I the only one experiencing this in this particular manner?

It mostly occurs during cooperative local play on Spartan Ops but has occurred on the customization screen as well. Essentially the screen freezes, some awful sound repeats, then it crashes to the Xbox One Home screen. Microsoft Support said this issue was fixed in a patch by the developer 343i, but I am still experiencing it.

I have troubleshooted my console, re-installed the Master Chief Collection, and exchanged my console as per (Microsoft support’s advice) and I am still facing this issue on a brand new console.

Can someone please verify this is the game?

Just updating that this problem occurs on the main menu screen as well.

I had it happen during a Matchmaking search.

pretty pathetic of Microsoft to tell you that the issue had already been patched up… obviously not! I’ve had the same issue before though, you’re not alone.
