Freezes in MCC?!

I keep getting frozen screens when pulling up my spartan ID. I’m getting annoyed and feel this game is broken

If it keeps doing that, try deleting/uninstalling then reinstalling the game. It might help…

You are correct. This game is broken. However that is another controversial discussion. I find that delays in pulling up own ID and IDs of other players is network behaving unexpectedly. Sometimes this happens to me when downloading a game or the xbox is automatically updateing content. Make sure you have enough bandwidth available, it may speed up viewing of IDs. Hope this information is of help.

Deleting and reinstalling the game don’t help. Just try a hard reset. It usually sorts the problem out for a while. Then when it happens again, exit then do another hard reset. Rinse and repeat.

The freezing you’re experiencing is a potential game-breaking bug. DO NOT attempt to access the Player ID if you’re in a matchmaking lobby while it loads a game. The animated background will freeze, the music will stutter and/or screech, the game will crash after a few seconds, and you’ll get an error message on your Xbox dashboard. After this happened to me I tried booting up the game, only to run into constant freezes and frame rate drops that made the game overall unplayable, even in the campaigns. I had to buy a whole new copy for $30 because my disc was damaged from the crash.

If you try and access the Player ID on the main menu, it may take up to 45 minutes to properly load the feature. I clocked in 39m14s on one occasion after going AFK, and was appalled that it took that long just to load a simple feature. However, after it loaded, my achievements and progression still showed 0%. That remains permanently broken.

It’s alright. Glad it’s working.
