The game freezes at start screen then every time I try to start game again it says halo master chief collection took to long to start. Need help have reset the system by holding power button waited 30 seconds then unplugged for 15 mins turned back on only to have it happen again will pay at least 25$ through PayPal to anyone that can get my game back working so I can at least play customs and campaign really don’t want to reinstall since it took 30 hours
Deleted and re-install the game I believe will be your best bet. It sounds like something is corrupt with your installation. I know it sucks man but the game is extremely broken right now.

Yes, but it involves copious amounts of baking powder and bacon.
Go into manage game, then delete all saved data. That worked for me.
