I started to play EXTRA Campaign on Halo:CE in co-op and I’m actually in the third level (The Truth and Reconciliation). Well I explain you what’s happen, everything works until 3 hours (or around that) the game get freeze… I did two times that level and I noticed that when after 3 hours I’m still playing that level, the game get freeze with a weird sound in the background and crash. This is very annoying, especially on EXTRA Campaign (you can imagine) . Any explanation?
I don’t understand what “EXTRA” means? Can you explain exactly what it is you are doing?

I’m assuming you’re referring to LASO? If that’s the case, this issue used to happen all the time to me and my friend on that same mission. We never figured out exactly why it happened, but we noticed that the frequency of crashes increases if you’ve had your Xbox on for a long time. It could be that something is overheating and reducing the stability of some of the internal systems of the Xbox to a small degree that’s just large enough to affect the game and crash it, but it could also be something else entirely.
I would recommend doing a hard reset of your console and using the Energy Saver power mode to make sure it turns completely off when you aren’t using it. Then, when you get back on after some time, you should be able to get through the mission without it crashing. Let me know if that works for you or if it seems to be caused at a specific area.
