So are undercover employees doing damage control in the forums? It’s like out of nowhere people just plop the word free into their threads.
It’s one thing to praise the game, but when alot of people start putting free this free that it seems suspicious. Sort of like those fake amazon and yelp reviews where they constantly praise the product in a stupid attempt to make it seem better.
Coincidentally, OP, I think they do it for free as well.
So are undercover employees of rival developers popping into these threads to try and smear the game?! picks nose

Lel im not not. I pinky promise
No, I think there are just two schools of thought regarding this game:
-
We bought the game, and unlike previous Halo titles, DLC is added–at no cost–as updates that everyone gets as to not split the community since we all get the maps and such, and therefore people should take that into consideration before complaining about the quality of said updates.
-
We bought a game that had a fraction of the modes, maps, and features that were in the past three major Halo titles, so these updates aren’t the equivalent of paid DLC but are instead a means of finishing an unfinished product after release that should have been there to being with, and therefore, we already paid for them and can complain as we see fit.
-
(the way I see it) A little of both. I think the “free” aspect of view #1 helps to … not justify, but helps many of us to swallow much of view #2. We have to wait for modes and features that should have been there at launch, but at least the DLC maps are free and we don’t get a split community of DLC buyers and non-DLC buyers.
