greed at the expense of the fans. All fans wanted was a solid game this time and they deliberately made it so that was never on the table. Shame on Microsoft
Not if they don’t learn from their mistakes and given what he have from Infinite, 343 has learned nothing from the past. In fact I think they’ve made things far worse with Infinite than any other title.
Sure. I don’t disagree - the fact the gameplay is solid and everything else is broken seems the core of why many players are upset. As it stands 343 is hemorrhaging PC players because every other major system - anti-cheat, networking, and ranked to name a few - are either non-existent, under-performing, or complete garbage respectively. On the flipside however no one would care about stellar networking, stunning visual effects, technophilic audio quality, and any other polished bell or whistle if the gameplay was trash.
Going back to where and what I specifically interjected on
And for additional context
I think you, me, and @JShrekinson2 agree on the fundamental issue - poor leadership is responsible for the excessive poor code quality and the half-baked product released to the public. Where you and I disagree is I think a number of teams got things right. Some of the teams that got things wrong are - unfortunately - part of game critical systems. Which is why people say “the game has potential” - a multiplayer game needs more than good base gameplay mechanics. It needs solid networking, matchmaking, and anti-cheat which Infinite just doesn’t have.
