Over the last few days I’ve noticed an increase of stupid team mates who have not a clue how to play MP maps. Lopsided matches and Balanced setting pointless. At least it will be over soon, so we can get the normal amount of noobs back.

Why can you expect 50% to be decent? If an influx of brand new players occurs then almost all will take a while to get anywhere in terms of skill. This is to be expected and during placement matches there is always some amount of imbalance anyway.

Ohhhhhhh man. Did I just get a laugh… Your complaining about noobs??? Your ranked silver in arena and slayer this season… And your K/D is less than 0.8 you have gone negative overall in all your games and a win % of less than 50. You’re a silver/gold level player of course you will be matched with low levels. The system is working as intended. And don’t say you’re a diamond level your diamond 1 is in swat in the pre season when the placement system was broken. Literally every other month you’ve been a silver or gold.
You’re getting matched with newbs, because you’re a noob. Notice I said newb and noob. Different things. Stop complaining about struggling players when if you matched actual good players you would literally get destroyed.
I am not normally this hard on people with bad service records. But if you want to drag new players through the dirt and winge then you’re asking for it. If you matched with me in my team… You’d be the one dragging the team down.
If you don’t want to play with people who can’t walk and aim simultaneously then git gud and rank up to a level where the players can. Or take the time to teach new players how to improve to help grow the community.

They don’t have to do anything you tell them to do. They will get better over time. Not straight away.

we need the noobs to keep up the population - people who don’t get a kill all game are probably really frustrated as it is. Like everyone else said - you have to start somewhere. As a community we should be encouraging new players to get into it, not throwing a hissy fit because we lose games when we have noobs on our team.
In doubles for example I’ve carried noobs and not minded cos I figure, hey, winning a game and having someone good on your team will probably encourage that particular player to stick around and keep playing some more.

No but, we SHOULD expect the search preferences to actually work. When I pick focused, I’m expecting for my team mates to be similar skill to me. So how do I get people that are below SR10 and can’t get more than 5 kills in a 10 minute match?

but you’re not even very good yourself? Therefor you’ll naturally be matched up with people of a lesser average skill. The solution is to get better at the game - I consistently get matched up with people of similar skill to me. Plus, most of the dedicated fanbase are generally quite good.

Nah, I kinda feel for the OP. While I do know we all start somewhere, sometimes it’s a little ridiculous. I had a guy in WZFF that was new, only get 5 kills the entire game and was blatently trolling. So while the other 6 of us (another was doing poorly, but not as bad) were actually trying to complete the match, he was running teammates over with ghosts, driving warthogs around and trying to splatter knights (despite being told he can’t). It just stupid. It makes me reluctant to want to call in REQs because we’re already handicapped at that point and why waste higher level REQs?
It’s great for warzone though not arena when you run with a fireteam of 5 or more you can dominate so easy. One match of wza I had 60 kills with a phaeton it was rediculus and I didn’t give them an inch >.>

I felt giddy and dirty at the same time during the match. But it was a good k/d boost I guess. A Helios phaeton is so good

Man, How I got a hoot reading this poop. You have no idea why my rank 1 was sliver. 2… it became sliver playing with Noobs! 3. Service records on 343 servers mean -Yoink!- to me. My skill isn’t shown but 90% of a month playing with low ranked players. In fact the rank system 343 invented doesn’t work. That’s why all the PRO league players gave their feedback back in March about them crying about getting matched with lower “ranked” players. Skill has nothing to do with any and all my ORG post fool. Thanks for playing a long troll.

And I know exactly why your a silver. You even said so yourself. You play with low level players/noobs. And Still go negative most games and lose more than half.
I had a bunch of stuff written out explaining why your stuck in Silver. But instead I decided I wouldnt waste my time, I play with silvers, golds and plats all the time because my company is an open welcoming bunch just having fun. I would never blame them for a lose, everyone has different levels of ability. You need to lighten up and harden up. So until such time as you prove yourself Ill leave with the modern classic.
