That’s how you make it up to us.
Agreed
Half price Halo 5 and a free season pass, thank you.

give someone an inch…
No. There should be no need for a season pass. Dlc maps should be free.
Think about halo 3-4 and how little you actually got to play the dlc maps in matchmaking because the small amount of people that bought them or got them with their legendary edition games.
All DLC should be free so everyone gets them and they can be added into the rotation without need for a special playlist.
How about free season pass for MCC (when there’s one, for Reach + ODST + H2A map packs etc.) for people who logged in MCC in first 2 weeks and + month (or so) of free gold for everyone who logged in Matchmaking when it’s broken.

That’s all he can give you so it’s fair
Am I the only one who wants general credit to spend on something of my choice rather than some random Halo content?

They’ve already said they won’t be making DLC content for MCC. I believe their reasons behind it were that any time spent creating additional content would hinder Halo 5. Personally I think the OP’s suggestion is perfect, it would not only encourage people to buy Halo 5 (good for Microsoft/343) but would be fair compensation for MCC owners too. Might not be good for those who no longer want Halo 5 but I think it would be a fair compromise.
Its your chance to be a trend setter 343 by being the first big company to end the filthy anti consumers practice of the season pass rort.
what would giving a free season pass which already has every map besides reach? what would a season pass do beside makes you guys happy, but complain about other things. This is exactly what happen with the destiny forums and the reason why I left them.

This. It’s why we can’t have nice things.
Make it up by removing abilities in H5? =]
As someone who has been out of the Console gaming scene since Reach came out, may I ask what the furk a season pass is? Are they making us pay for the game and then pay again for multiplayer or something?
Who the hell would want to buy maps designed by 343? I mean, they would most likely make your Xbone crash at loading, then they patch it 4 months later when the price is 1/3rd. Plus the maps would suck, and nobody would really want to play them. I know I aint gonna buy a single DLC. No need, really.
I just want a game that works… I will pay another 60$… apology was nice and all, but a game that works would be great

Using Halo 4 as an example the season pass gave people who bought it access to all of the DLC maps at a discounted price, as well as some extra armor customization.
I personally won’t be buying anymore DLC for Halo 5 or MMC. All it does is devide the community and if they do not make a DLC specific playlist that’s permenant, chances are you won’t be able to play on those maps anyway. Except for maybe the first 2/4 weeks after the DLC is released and they decide to make a playlist to promote the maps, but once they remove that playlist, there is a very good chance you will rarely, if ever, get to play on them again.
I’d rather put that money towards a new game.

This too. And no classes.

Wow, you must really be out of the loop.
As stated above by another, a season pass is just a discount package providing access to all future dlc for a particular game (which for multiplayer based games, usually involves maps and sometimes new game modes or new weapons). To my knowledge, the concept was introduced fairly recently (5 years ago maybe?).
