I didn’t know that was possible. And I got two which is weird. Neither are friends.
Gifting packs was added with this update. It was all detailed in the reveals from yesterday and the day before.

Yup thise are gift packs. I got 4-5 of thwm and that really helped me getting all the new stuff.

yup, as if the game doesnt have enough microtransactions. -- seriously i feel sorry for the people still grinding, you either grind for half a year or you pay to grind the fast way, on top of that once you unlock everything paying money is still the best way to build up everything, thats why all the rich kids have like 100+ of everything and never run out…and people say destiny is worse. --

They explained this: If people could buy gifts with RP, then some third-party would monetize it. Think of those guys that already own everything; they could literally ask people for real money in order to get a discounted gold REQ pack.

Im assuming you mean how?
- easily the worst balanced weapon system next to cod (its gotten better but its still pretty bad), any game that possesses weapons that have to be found by rng to do well in a match is broken (im talking about weapons that are considered pvp guns aka the matador which trumps all other shottys in pvp)
- Supers break flow and balance of every mode
- Non existent story
- All additional content is overpriced and has proven to be in the game at launch but locked away.
- Microtransactions are slowly becoming more and more prominant, as in they are becoming core aspects to enjoy any form of update do too content literally being locked away behind a pay wall and arguably began to slide down the slippery slope of ptw. (say what you will about the req system, but packs are easy to earn and countering power weapons is easy to do, plus they only apply to one mode, not all modes)

Destiny is worse lol, halo has a balance to it at least in its core modes. On the microT level they’re the same, Both are RNG based.

hmm i guess i agree now. 
but i still think its an awesome game, many big youtubers play it like ali-a.
