Hi, i had received a message the other week containing the code for a free month of xbox live for my continued support of The Master Chief Collection. Last night when i went to redeem the code it had been deleted. I was directed from the xbox live support chat to this forum. They said i would find help here.

There isn’t much that can be done form these forums I’m afraid, generally I would be adivsing that folk contact XBL Support for issues like this. I would contact them again and see if they can help, failing that you could pass a message over to B is for Bravo and see if he or the team can help you out. Messages do expire on XBL, so it is worth taking a note of codes and keeping them somewhere safe. I usually use a secure pastebin or an SMS on my phone.
Ya, i thought it was weird to have XBL refer me over to here. The thing is, the message was not more than 2 weeks old. I guess i know now to take extra measures.
Looks like it’s 30 days for messages to expire. Hope you can get it sorted out and yeah, backups are always a good plan
