A few weeks ago I received the Halo: The Master Chief Collection code for a Free Month of Xbox Live Gold. Unfortunately, the message auto-deleted before I ever redeemed the code, and I was wondering if there is any way of recovering said message, or receiving a new code. I contacted Xbox Support and they told me I should address the game developers on this issue.
The exact thing happened to me and seems to be happening to a few people, even though it doesn’t go over the 30 day expire day
Xbox Live Support should have directed you to post here on their support forums. Someone there should be able to help you out 
At least you guys got sent messages, I still haven’t gotten one saying I have a free month, I do however have the exclusive avatars and nameplates…go figure

There was no code. The month was added to your account. The message was just to inform you of that.

Some people have actually gotten codes via messages, rather than an update to their sub

Roll out is still on going so you should get it. Could check in with Bravo, but I imagine it should drop for you soon. Folk are still getting it everyday
I got my code but it auto disappeared, and it had and actual code, how can i get that code resent to me again. Xbox told me they new nothing about a message with a free code ?

You should be able to get help with that over on the Xbox Support forums
I bought the game on the 20 th so does that knock me out of the giveaway
If you mean the 20th of December, then yes. As of now, you still had to have played between the 11th of November and 19th December
