My xbox live subscription finally ended so I wanted to use the free month givin to me by 343. Went to get code from my messages and it’s gone O_O.

Xbox live messages automatically expire after 30 days and I think the expiry of message is also affected if your inbox is full. I would try contacting Xbox live support and see if they can help, failing that possibly passing a message on to B is for Bravo (community manager) and see if he and the team can help. Always advisable to write codes down and keep them somewhere safe in the event of expiry or accidental deletion
Yeah I contacted xbox support first and said this is a 343 deal to check here. I had no idea messages go away after so long :(. Now i know! I tweeted em too maybe they can help me out.

Hey we just discovered the same problem and are trying to figure out how to get the code back. Tried Xbox live support and the 343 forums and was directed here. No luck so far. Did you have any success solving the issue? We also did not write down the code and did not know the message would delete itself after 30 days!
Sorry to hear that ABHK0336, a few users seem to have had success posting over on this specific Xbox Support forum about this particular issue. Hopefully someone there will be able to help you out 
I’m having the same issue. Xbox told me to post on here and ask if 343 could resend the message. I hope they can because it’s almost spring break!

Did you make a post over on the forum I linked above? That seems to be the best option right now for those who have lost their code or had it expire. Support over there should be able to help you out
