This is probably a useless thread to some (So ignore it if you want), but what do you think of Free for All? I’m going to be on it for the first time soon, so does anyone have any advice or tips?
In Team Slayer you shoot at everybody no matter where they are. Don’t do that in free for all. Only shoot if you think you’re going to get the kill. that’s how I do it at least
I haven’t played a lot of FFA or am I that good, but I think that since I have been using a good pair of headphones I get a lot more kills. You can tell where others are fighting and get kills by finding people weak. also try and stay out of the open .
I haven’t played alot of FFA but from my experience with it, I found that personally, playing aggressively is alot more rewarding. I’ve tried just walking around the map occasionally sprinting but there are so many different flanks when your solo so if you stick around an area too long, your probably gonna get shot at from a direction that you don’t expect.
The spawns are awful, often I’ll spawn in the middle of a Firefight and die immediately, only to spawn right next to the “pro” toting Rockets, Shotguns, and an Overshield (this happens more times than you believe.) and have no way to fight back. The matching is bugged as well. I’m only Platinum 4, and I’m getting matched up against -Yoinking!- Onyxes. Why!? Combined with the awful spawn issues I’ve found it near impossible to have any fun in the FFA playlist.

I love FFA. I feel like almost every weapon you pickup is going to out-gun the loadout AR/pistol. Especially in close combat.
Also, splinter grenades are my personal favourite. They work great when throwing at two others duking it out.
