I’ll admit that I’ve been out of touch with Halo for a while, but this is very similar across most games that I’ve played FFA on. A win is only given to the player at the top? I figured 2nd and 3rd would get that as well, but it would be weighted less.
Trust me, I’m not an "everyone gets a trophy"guy. This is merely what I remember it being in the past.
you are correct. even 4th can get you some csr points since you only loss to 3 people and beat 4. but its very very little points for 4th.
Ah, good point. I overlooked the fact that you’re still potentially placing above higher ranked players. I guess the big fat zero that shows for my W/L was disheartening. Thanks for the clarification!
I’ve noticed that when you are in lower ranks like gold even a 6th place can give you some points, but in diamond (i’m diamond 4 right now in FFA so I can’t speak for onyx) a 5th place will make you lose points and you almost get no points when you get 4th. So You should always try to be in the top 3
