The idea of making free content sounds really pleasant! But the thing is, they can lack content and they can contain stuff from old games or remakes or remixes, some stuff you would be disappointed and when you are disappointed, people tells you you shouldn’t be disappointed because you’re not paying for it. Because if I m gonna pay for it you sure know 343 would work their -yoink- off to come up with something good that will get them your money, instead of saying we are giving you free dlcs and they can do whatever they want with it and nobody can say something about it because it’s “Free.”

These halo 5 maps have been bad. All those remixes are a joke of content.
I actually have enjoyed them for the most part imo cant complain with it being free and all
SMDH People will complain about everything.
It’s not good either way… when it’s map packs you divide the community… when it’s “free” it does seem to be less quality. All we have gotten so far at least to me is Darkstar, torque, and tyrant. All the cosmetics I could careless about. Them bringing back the H2BR and H CE pistol is awesome but that is not NEW stuff. I don’t mind them adding old stuff from the past games I just want more NEW maps, not remixes of the current. Even give me inspired by maps at this point as I do like truth and regret.

Free DLCs are made to get money, just like every other game. Sure they give new stuff, but how does all of this help you in the long run?
You are literally complaining over free content. At no point was their a vote on paid vs free DLC so your whining literally means nothing. I love Halo but I don’t buy DLC, for any game.
All the DLC has been pretty good imo. People just whine every time they don’t get exactly what they wanted.
I don’t care, I’m still having fun with it.

The only new new stuff is the weapon changes from Halo 4 and like the plasma caster, whispered truth, gauss turret (handheld/regular turret)?, hydra,. Oh and weapon attachments. And weapon variations, which is pretty cool. There are also variations of brute plasma rifle, there was a video on it somewhere… (I have a feeling brutes may return, in Halo 5, because under forge, the weapons are listed under Brutes… Which is odd, could be for organizing. And that if they model now, use it in warzone, could make it easier to put them in the campaign for Halo 6, considering that game would involve almost every species we fought with/against to fight against the crazy blue lady.

The way I see it, these updates are free because the cost was included in the release of the game. Hell, they’ve admitted that a lot of this stuff has been in development before the launch and just didn’t make the deadline (because 343i insisted on getting Halo 5 out prematurely). We all know 343i loves their money (and why shouldn’t they), so if they thought for a millisecond that these content updates were actually worth charging for, they would charge us for them. They know the quality of these updates has been sub-par, they’ve wanted them to be.

This too… to many make wild assumptions and when that doesn’t happen they rage and take it personally or something.
I think l like the idea of every player can play the new content, but then again, i do not like DLCs period, they should have a complete game at launch and DLCs should be completely optional ( Meaning skins and such)

Remember LethalQ, everything Bungie will always be vastly superior to anything that any other developer could possibly make. Believing in anything else is heresy, and heresy simply will not be tolerated.
