When I first found that dlc was going to be free for everyone, I thought it was one of the best things to come to halo in a long time. It made sense not having to worry about convincing friends to drop 20 bucks on a few maps, and it ensured the whole halo population would have the maps, allowing for quick matchmaking while maintaining the skill gap.
What I did not take into consideration was the quality of the dlc we would get. Forge maps, more forge maps, remixes, a warzone map every few months, no new gametypes, one lucky orignal arena map that looks like plaza with some trees.
Yesterday I was telling my freinds about the upcomming dlc update ( in a positive tone) and they rolled their eyes. Guess I will be playing alone.
I love halo 5. I dont want this to come off as hate, but I would rather pay for dlc if it meant I would get real btb maps, arena maps, actionsack, ricochet… Ya know, like halo dlc has always been. Like how dlc is for every other game.
