I literally told you to not buy into the promotion. That is, in fact, the exact opposite of supporting 343…
Gf already bought some since OPI was already her favorite brand. But its sad that they do this when The pre-order zeta sky codes are still messed up
Obviously promotions won’t appeal to everyone. Why assume every promotion must cater to you specifically?
I refuse to buy unhealthy energy drinks or the unhealthy snack food they have on other promotions. I’d buy them and bin/donate them just to get the skin though, if they’re aesthetically pleasing enough. (Like this promotion. I dont even use nail polish - yet) Also there’s plenty of masculine men who use nail polish.
I don’t have a huge problem with promotional skins linked to products. Obviously I’d rather the game didn’t have any of this stuff and wasn’t free to play, but I digress here…
What, I DO have a problem with is how they are charging money for colours!!! Freaking colour’s!!! To me that’s a joke! And not right at all!!!
I would never buy anything like this, even if I liked the color, as I don’t want to encourage them to sell me more colors. Some type of helmet, armour, weapon skin, etc, fine…ok…go ahead, but colors cross the line for me.
It’s more then a color. It’s got sparkles.
Right…I forgot about that
Who would’ve known that Spartans cover their armor in nail polish? Bet they didn’t put that in the novels.
Is it just me or is everyone way off on how this would most likely work in the business world?!
Everyone is claiming 343i is at it money grabbing again with these branded promotions as if they get the money or a percentage of sales when it’s most likely not that at all.
From a business perspective, promotions such as these would have most likely been put out to tender with brands like Rock Star or Opi paying a set fee to Microsoft to be able to have a Halo Infinite skin created for them and promote it on their products. With all the media hype around Halo Infinite this is an ideal marketing promotion that increases awareness of their brand and increase sales…the fact that ppl are talking about it on here, Reddit and being promoted all over the place online shows what a brilliant marketing tool this is for these brands…and for the game as it gets pushed out all over the media world again.
Anyone claiming 343i is charging $20 for a free skin is way off the mark…the truth is your paying whatever amount of money for a product that has a free promotional item associated to it. The Halo Infinite skins you get if your purchase these products are free.
We all have a choice…if you don’t like it then don’t buy it; if you do like it then buy it. Personally I can honestly say that I’ve never once thought to myself “I’d love a purple Spartan with a glitter shimmer”…and I never will do so I simply won’t be buying it.
Not everyone who plays halo is a dudet, would you have the same reaction if they sold deluxe halo condoms? My insults aren’t towards women you special gummy bear. Not everything is about insulting you personally.
Never took it as an insult. Not upset at all. And this is a promotional deal aimed at people who purchase nail polish. Not every promotion is aimed at men in their 30s, and that’s okay.
Please don’t be so naive and ignorant. It’s NOT aimed at ppl who buy nail polish…it’s aimed at Halo players in order to raise brand awareness and push sales in to new markets.
if you want this play the outlast whistleblower DLC lol
Okay, the other person may not have been insulting me, but you definitely are. Way to start a conversation. You want to be a little nicer?
And yeah, this is aimed at Halo players. But specifically Halo players who would wear nail polish. Do you really think they thought a bunch of manly male fans would buy this? Or do you think this was specially aimed at their more feminine fans, regardless of their gender.
Forever hoping there was reason for keeping my gf around.
Alas, I’ve found it.
Not even LEGO, knock off LEGO.
What I want to know is if this will be able to be used on PC? I want to get the armor coating but I don’t play on xbox. When I did the twitch drops, the milk card went to my xbox account and isn’t available for me to use on PC at all. That shouldn’t be something I need to worry about because it’s the same account that’s linked but apparently they don’t share any information with each other at all.
The only thing players are trying is ‘hard’.
In the completely free multiplayer portion of this title mind you.
No gf no nail polish.
My bf isn’t as lucky as you. I bought the polish for myself, and I’m keeping the code
Big oof
