There’s an Xbox themed Opi nail polish Collection coming out on February 1st that comes with codes for a sparkly Dark blue/purple armour coating(also a forza skin)! Spending $20 will earn you the code.
I love these outside purchases that give in game items, though I suspect it will only be on the Mk 7 Core, which is a disappointment.
There’s also the worry about if the item will even redeem. Preorder item codes, Twitch drop Got Milk emblems, and also the HCS Twitch drops did not redeem correctly for many people.
I might take the risk, but it would be nice* for those issues to be resolved. Currently they’re not considered big enough of an issue to be prioritised.

Some of these profiles are legit starting to look like devs or are being payed to promote crap like this and this game. I realize that’s PROBABLY not the case but it still seems…odd. The enthusiasm is a little overly genuine if you catch my drift.

Also…this was a perfect time to say " Hey! Whatever colors you buy you get in game! " That gives people incentive to buy EVERY color. It’s just crazy how monetized this game is and they are STILL leaving money on the table. They made it apparent they’re going all in on payed cosmetics and still don’t have the nads to go all in and yet they cut corners when it comes to customisation.

Gosh, I love that Quest for Quartz color. I’ve been trying to get my nails in better health before I paint them again, but I might paint them anyways with how pretty it looks. Thanks for the heads up

If I was a dev I’d probably not mentiom that it might not even redeem! Cosmetics are the most important thing to me in games, so I am indeed highly enthusiastic

Just bear in mind it probably won’t work for Mk 5, only Mk 7. But hey maybe that will change in the future? Doubtful but it’s sparkly so I’m buying the pale pink and blue regardless

It’s a free bonus if you are planning on buying the polish to use it. It’s not free if you’re buying it just for the item. Same way with any promo. Like, if you already drank Rockstar the Exp boosts were essential free.
