Ok, the h5 vidoc showed fred’s armor, i really hope its unlockable in the halo 5 beta, if not im going to scream.
I’m willing to bet it is.
They did say that there were 7 armor sets for use to customize our Spartans with and so far they revealed.
Recruit is the default armor; Mark VI and Mark VI Scarred, Helioskrill, Nightfall, Aviator, Recon and Fred’s armor.
That sound about right. 1 default armor and 7 unlockable sets.

They said 7 in all, that would include the default armour. They’ve also shown 12 armours in relation to multiplayer (that is to say, not including John or Locke’s).
Currently we have
- Air Assault
- Aviator
- Centurion (Fred’s)
- Defender
- Helioskrill
- Mark VI
- Mark VI Scarred
- Nightfall
- Recon
- Recruit
- Soldier
- And the unidentified training armor seen in the original multiplayer trailerAt least five of those won’t be in the beta assuming none of the info we’ve been given has changed.
I’m hoping Fred, John and Locke’s are all useable this time around.
im sure that and many more will be there. i dont get why freds, lindas, and kellys armors are gen 2. they are supposed to be original spartan 2 armor variants. then again they changed the chiefs too. with no explaination at all

There’s no indication that the rest of Blue Team has Gen 2, but there’s no reason they couldn’t. Naomi’s Mark VII is thought to be Gen 2, so it’s not as though they couldn’t give it to the other S-IIs. That said, Blue Team appear to simply be using variants of Mark VI, modified to be more like their old Mark IV (as is the case with John’s).
