We all know what they look like and have seen their faces before. But do you think we’ll get to see Fred, Kelly, and Linda without their helmets? Of course Chief won’t take his helmet off, but do you think his teammates/friends will?
For all we know, we may get to see John without his helmet.
If you saw the ending of Halo 4, we see his eyes and nose bridge. He doesn’t look human anymore.
Even better we see Johns face I think the end of every game there going to show a different part lol his time it’ll be his mouth so then eveneutlally we can combine the pieces and it turns out it looks identical to forthencos confirming hi gaes

Young Kelly-087 and Fred-104 take their helmets off in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn and we get a good look at their faces. There’s also their appearance in The Package but I’m not sure how accurate or canon that is. Either way, we’ve seen them before so I wouldn’t be surprised if they show us their faces this time around.
Linda-058 has been described as having dark red hair and green eyes, and I imagine she might be heavily scarred from taking several hits of plasma to the head in The Fall of Reach.
As for MC - we’ve seen John-117’s face when he was a kid, the back of his head and body post-augmentation, he’s described briefly in the books when sans armour, and in the Legendary ending for Halo 4 it shows a bit of his nose and deeply shadowed eye areas. In one of the issues of the Escalation comic his visor’s busted and you can see one of his blue eyes. Given all this, and that there’s more of an effort into him being a fully-fledged character rather than the player’s stand-in, I don’t see the real need to keep his face hidden any longer.
I’m pretty sure we see what Fred and Kelly look like in-game in one of the Halo 2: Anniversary terminals.
There’s also their appearance in escalations.
They might just do what they did in the package and show everyone elses faces while always obscuring John’s with the camera angle.
We see them without helmets in escalation so I assume they will take off their helmets at some point in the game.
I’m fairly certain we will see all 7 of the new Spartans with their helmets off. It might be a little awkward with the chief keep his on though… But the EU lore does note he rarely takes it off.

I think they’re a little misunderstood/misinformed. Sadly It does not - it only shows the faces for Locke’s Team.
I’m a little confused about this thread a little bit but you can already see them without their helmets in Halo Escalations the Next 72 hours.

True. But that comic’s art was…less than stellar, to say the least. It would be nice to see what they will look like rendered in actual in-game graphics.

He’s wondering if we’ll see them with their helmets off IN Halo 5. He knows we’ve seen them without their helmets before. Please actually read a thread and not just it’s title before commenting -_-
We saw their faces in Escalation, so I’d assume that, yeah, we’ll definitely be seeing their faces in Halo 5.

Got to love Kelly the sniper and Linda the scout
