Fred confirmed for Halo 5...

The thought of fighting alongside Blue Team in H5G just seems totally wicked. Maybe there will be some new “Squad Commanding” features for the campaign? Maybe you could tag enemies for Linda to snipe? Tell them to take cover? That’d be really cool I think.

I’m also surprised that it took me as long as it did to even consider the Blue armour in the Beta ViDoc to be a character’s armour set. I began to wonder after I saw the braille on the chestplate. And then This ^ pops up a few days later.

Do you guys like Fred’s armour design? Any ideas on how we’ll unlock it in Multiplayer?

Halo Follower? He is so unreliable and anything he says should be taken very lightly.

No doubt the armor resemblance is uncanny but frankly that’s all it amounts too. It’s probably a nod from 343I about Frederick 104 and that he will make some appearance in main stream channels and not just books and comics, but not confirmed for Halo 5.

that’s just a hint, in the best case. but far from anything similiar to a confirmation.
don’t take that HaloFollower-Guy too serious, he likes to overexaggerate with little things like this.

The only thing we can deduce from that is that Fred’s armor was designed after Halo 5 armor (which probably means the same goes for the rest of Blue Team).

343 Industries absolutely loves to foreshadow. This isn’t just some mere coincidence. Fans have been asking for Blue Team to appear in the games for quite some time now. Bungie never really liked mixing the expanded fiction with the games, so that was always a pipe dream. But 343 is adamant that all forms of Halo’s expanded fiction should be in some way, shape, or form connected to the games, so it only makes sense that Blue Team appear in a future game, and Halo 5 is the perfect time. The reason this is no coincidence, is because of the braille on the Blue Spartan’s chestplate. They wouldn’t have put that braille there, which reads 104, if it didn’t serve as a tease. So basically, 343 Industries is outright teasing that Blue Team, or at the very least Frederic-104, will appear in some capacity in Halo 5: Guardians.

Why would some random Halo 5 armor set have “104”, Fred’s Spartan ID, written in braille?

im thinking itll do what it did in halo 3. in co-op, youll play with one/two/three of them, and in single player, theyll go off and do their own thing, like how the arbiter did in halo 3 sometimes. then for locke there will probably be a different combo, like locke, arbiter, spartan thorne (who was an alright character imo, some love and development could make him very good) and (i dont know why wed want this) sarah palmer

For once, I’m willing to say that HaloFollower is on the right track. Not only is the armour shown in the video the same as Fred’s, but as JSA343 pointed out, it also says 104 in braille on the chest piece. As many of us know, in Halo 4, John’s chest piece has 117 written on it in braille. If this isn’t a foreshadowing of Blue Team’s involvement in Halo 5, then nothing is.

Fred’s in blue team.
Fred’s armour is displayed in blue.
