Frankie's response on neoGaf. Read. now.

> The magazine scans were always going to come out the day after the cover debuted, that almost always happens. We can’t talk about the story in detail, because it is GI’s exclusive. I will say that some of the things that “invested, emotional” players are “raising eyebrows slightly at” are being very misinterpreted (“random” weapon spawns for example) but we will be able to clarify some of those things in due time.

> Some of the other features, abilities, are also being discussed with no context (not your guys’ fault, obviously) and frankly, a video of TS would probably allay many of the especially hysterical reactions, but we’re not there yet.
>
> We haven’t seen a single reaction we didn’t expect (apart from the Dax love story) and we will clarify a lot of this stuff 100% in the coming weeks and months. SOME of the things in here won’t be properly understood outside of a holistic experience (modes, progress, fictional setting, etc) but I am going to say one thing and leave it at that:

> It feels like Halo, it does NOT feel or act like the other game(s) it’s being compared to. Again, without playing it, you can’t be blamed for jumping to certain conclusions.

I understand he wouldn’t bad mouth the game, but this does make me feel a little better. I do understand how things can be over glorified for the sole purpose to cause controversy and make people talk, but I do feel like after reading what Frankie said we’re best off waiting before we send 343 500 copies of CoD4 like ME3 fans sent cupcakes.

EDIT: Please make sure to read this, before you blindly throw a hissy fit.

EDIT 2: Gameinformer could have easily played a “test” gametype, like generator defense. It could have included “hit x to respawn,” “random weapon spawns,” and other things that won’t be in playlists, just gametype specific.

Evidence Please.

never mind you just added it :3

Thank you.

just posted the source

Hope he’s right.

All we can do now is sit and hope…

Happy face

IN DUE TIME !! I am sick of hearing that phrase or “we will share more in the future” this issue needs to be addressed right fu.cking now. Not tomorrow, not next month, not e3 now. People need to know are they just wasting there time waiting or is there some good to come out of this. We will never know if 343 keeps telling us to wait and be patient.

This is why i love 343 they actually respond as opposed to bungie i like the point system and the ops sounds awsome. Also join session in progress has been asked for since H2.

WTF is the Dax love story?

Gonna be hell until this is all sorted out.

And it’s wait till we know more time…AGAIN >:(

It still needs to be clarified sooner rather than later.

> Gonna be hell until this is all sorted out.

I agree. From a business standpoint damage control is everything at this point. Rushing out a sparkcast for friday may be the best idea.

Still waiting for word on the Sangheili.

If the magical “context” fairy dust makes all of it make sense, then why didn’t they give it to Game Informer when they visited?

Thank You Frankie

> If the magical “context” fairy dust makes all of it make sense, then why didn’t they give it to Game Informer when they visited?

because people are talking now. it’s part of the hype machine. if they had done something, shown everything 100 percent, no one would talk about it. making it look like a blatant ripoff of cod, without context will make people talk.

just my opinion

Well, I instantly thought of this.
