Frankie, you were wrong.....kind of.

“This is the first time that the console game has been available in 16:9 aspect ratio, it was only ever made in 4:3, so there may be some slight differences.”

I play Combat Evolved on a 32 inch LCD Toshiba and the new 360 model (It works on the older ones also)

When I play my Xbox not being signed in to Xbox Live (I have no idea why this happens). The screen is at a 16:9 ratio, and the screen isn’t stretched up at all.

So with Halo CE having not being made in 16:9 ratio. You can play it in the 16:9 ratio.

Huzzah!

And it isn’t in stretched fat-o-vision?

OP is clearly a wizard.

No.

It’s like looks like it was made in 16:9.

addressing your minor problem, the reason you can’t be online for original xbox games was because the support for the original xbox games’ servers was shut down.

No when you play the game signed in to Xbox Live it is displayed as 4:3.

When you are not signed it plays as 16:9.

I have no idea how this happens.
