Big surprise eh? I know 343i chooses their words wisely. Maybe there’s an emphasis on big. Maybe the vehicle we’ll be able to use? Driving pelicans? New class to replace elites, gametype where you fight 1v1 with mechs only(pretty baddonkey if you ask me) The possibilities are never ending.

New Class to replace Elites sounds viable. A couple of weekly updates ago ( i think it was one of those ones where Frankie answers a bunch of questions from the community), he said that while Elites were not in MP, there would be something to scratch that itch.
Also having that UNSC Mech (excuse me, “powered exoskeleton”) in MP would just be…insane and fun at the same time.

Most people wanted sabre fights in Reach and clearly could have been done if the game was delayed a bit. I’m sure the mammoth will be on atleast one or two maps.
Playing as a Promethean would be weird and hard to configure out in Multiplayer because of the teleporting and etc…
However there are many things that could be a BIG Surprise, 343 said Something about scratching that Itch with Recon.

I hope not, their design is too radically different to the spartans, maybe if you could only play as them in their own game type then yeah, I guess so. But Reach did this with the elites and we all know how that went.

Most likely some kind of derived form of Invasion that may only feature Spartan since the scratch the itch was about the loss of Invasion gametype and not Elite.
It may be more of campaigb.
Very unlikely to happen (I’m just speaking out of my -Yoink- on this one), but what if they had another race (Sangheili, Jiralhanae, Kig-Yar etc.) with a -Yoink- load of armor customization equivalent to the Spartan’s for MP? Or maybe he’s talking about something other than multiplayer?
(I hear campaign is all the rage these days…)

My wishlist/predictions:
-play as Prometheans
-Elite Ops
-live action footage
-lots of codes for GoD Halo 4
-movie announced
-ARG
-exclusive privileges for early purchasers (i.e. Spartan Ops can be played without Gold/can be played offline for 1 month)
-Silentium preview
-Halo 2 on GoD

By BIG, he’s referring to the ability to play as a voluptuously curved female Spartan, since the female Spartans at PAX were disappointing.
