I bet people are still going to expect to see Halo 4 news, and just like the VGA rumors, I’ll do the same thing, say every one is reading too much into rumors, and when nothing is shown after every one has been hyped up over nothing, sit back, laugh my butt off, and then post “I told you”.
But I really do hope people learned to trust a known 343i employee, and not some random Spanish speaking woman that says she’s legit.

The “Spanish Lady” did work for Microsoft. She did see a video/trailer but not a video for public consumption, its a VERY common practice in the industry. She just chose a wrong time to say she saw a video.
Didn’t expect anything for VGA’s but CES isn’t until March… this is getting pretty close to the time of release with still next to zero real information.

They don’t have to wait for any kind of event to reveal anything. They can do it when they want. Plenty of developers/publishers are releasing things on their own schedule, away from events.
Seems like they are having trouble releasing anything. I don’t know why, Bungie seemed to have an effective system in place.
I have a good feeling for the end of the month, we’ve gotten past the “one year before release” mark, and most game developers like to wait until there’s like 11 to 9 months until their release period to start dropping more hints, clues, screen shots, and video of their games.
I don’t think we’ll be getting any new info until E3, to be honest.
Microsoft needs some big games to draw in attention, because all of this kiddie Kinect stuff isn’t appealing to the people who originally decided to get an Xbox.
Halo 4 is going to be the “big” game we see this year from Microsoft. Even though it was announced last year, it was only a teaser. We’ll find out what’s going on this year. Be patient. June might seem far away but we’ll be through the spring soon enough.

this really isn’t helping the current state of the halo community.
