> You cannot start with snipers whenever you want. (unless you are playing a sniper mode) The weapon drops are not “random.” They are telegraphed and in some ways, predictable. There is variation, however. Map control will still be key, but yes, changed. Custom games will be heavily customizable, and initial playlists will be clean and focused. Players will not be presented with stacksof lists, but there will be variety for different tastes.
Wait for the podcast before making assumptions. Please.
O MAI GLOB. YES
Why does he only post on Neogaf, never here? I just find it rather insulting that he won’t talk to this community directly.

The people here always jump to conclusions.

Just be thankful he has responded. I could care less if he doesn’t post on here as long as I get info.

They’re still the people that need to hear it.
What about all the other problems?

That’s what I’m most excited for.

I have been over at NeoGAF for quite sometime, and from what I see it’s a place for community developers to post and talk about their gaming community. It’s a widely known forum. It’s not “insulting” their own forum, almost every gaming developer has a mega thread over there.
Plus it’s restricted access, they only accept members in batches once a year. So naturally all the content posted there is much better and more mature than any other forum.
When is the podcast?
It should of been obvious that we would only choose from a mild selection (think AR, BR, DMR, NR, Covie Carbine etc) unless the gametype is specific. People should just give it a chance, as this can bring some extra variety to a match.
And for those who won’t adapt, I’m sure a classic playlist will come around eventually.
Just a reminder but bumping posts is NOT allowed guys.

Because if he posted here, people would flip their sh*t at him, as most of the Forum jumps to conclusions like a bunch of twelve-year-olds and pretty much hates Halo 4 so far. Neogaf is more mature.

I completely agree. Customs will be awesome!

Because it’s going to get here sooner or later. If it has to do with Halo you can expect it to get to the site all about Halo. This way it gets to more people that don’t just come to these forums.

We all know from experience that Classic playlists (for the most part) just don’t work.
No offense to 343, but you guys really should couple the release of such information with an explanation. I have a feeling this entire fiasco could have (and should have) been avoided.

Neogaf isn’t the Halo community. Sure, the people here may flip their -blam!- about it, but these people here need to know the information first-hand. They are the main consumers of the franchise, not Neogaf.

I agree
