Frankie calls game on Scarlett 'special citizen'

Frankie recently spoke about the differences of Infinite on Scarlett and Xbox One. He compared it being on Scarlett to like the ‘special citizen’, while it will still be a very nice experience on Xbox One. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/halo-infinites-xbox-one-version-wont-be-second-cla/1100-6468898/

I have a decent pc to run infinite nicely, but im still getting the scarlett as soon as it launches so I can get to play some infinite splitscreen, so its nice to see them saying the scarlett version is gonna be good (Lets hope the Scarlett comes with at least 2 controllers)

That’s great to hear that no matter what platform you play it on your gonna get a great experience probably 1080p 60fps on of xbox one and the s while dynamic 4k on the xbox one x and probably native 4k on scarlet I doubt its gonna be higher than that

So, we can play in xbox one still, right? Because I dont want to shell out another 600 for a new console.

That’s literally the topic so yes it will be on xbox one

I will be getting Scarlett day one without a doubt. Can’t wait for Halo Infinite!

For a moment there I read that as “Frankie calls game on Scarlett “Star Citizen”” and got confused/excited/horrified. But yeah, past experiences with cross-gen titles back up Frankie’s description. Some neat visual sprinkles aside, early next-gen/cross-gen isn’t a huge jump in comparison to what is possible on the previous platforms. What is huge though is having Halo as a launch title for an Xbox console again. It just feels…right.

Exactly so what we saw in the e3 trailer could be a good indication of what infinite will look like visually on all versions
