How do you unlock it?
Unlock every achievement for the MCC and for every Halo game ever made (Including H2 Vista, Spartan Assault for all four platforms, and Marathon: Durandal), complete every playlist, complete every glyph sequence on Waypoint, beat every difficulty for every halo campaign for every halo game ever made, beat LASO for every Halo campaign ever made on every system, beat every chapter of every Spartan Ops Episode on Legendary without dying on the 360 and on the Xbox One, and slap yo’ mama… You get the Frankie Avatar!!

Update: I double checked the MCC and there’s no Frankie avatar… As such I stand by my first post! You’ve gotta do everything to get it!!

I did that already, I lost 4 of my fingers and a left nipple in the process, totally worth it!
I’ve played since launch, but I have no Frankie avatar. I do have Spartan Strike avatar and it’s emblem back, though.

I’m so jealous… I’ve only lost half a nipple thus far in my pursuit of the Frankie Avatar. They should make it exactly like his janitor cameo in Forward Unto Dawn!

The Spartan Strike Emblem + Avatar randomly disappear and reappear in my Player ID menu. Two days ago I had them, yesterday had them not, a few hours ago I had them again and now I don’t, lol

That’s exactly what it is.
It is not a launch avatar, as I have had this since day one. I unlocked Frankie, a golden chief, and two mister chief avatars, but not sure how. My best guess is that I think somewhere there was something unlocked for beating a dev or someone else who has.

The new avatars and nameplates are for those who played from Nov 11th to Dec 19th.
Killing a 343 employee or someone who has unlocks the ‘bite the hand’ achievement.

Thanks… I do try my best although I must admit I have no current plans to quit my day job to pursue a future in comedy. That said, the -Yoink- still ain’t unlocking for me which is anything but hilarious for me.

this is actually very useful, the slap your mama is a joke of course, but this is what you need to do, im almost there, basically you just have to 100 percent every halo, im not sure halo 2 vista was part of it though, but basically every halo that keeps record of your progress via live. so far i think only frankie has it

Yeah I’ve played since 12:01am on Day 1 and I don’t have any if them either… I’ve seen some ppl rocking them in matchmaking and apparently they got a message with a redeemable code that unlocked them. Not sure if that’s true or not because I didn’t really know those guys and they could’ve been making the code-thing up… But that’s also what 343i said they were gonna do. Either why I’m not too concerned… I’d rather have 343i’s compensation be adding Envy and taking out Blind in the H2A LASO Playlist.
