I’m going to quote what I wrote in another thread.
> Apparently Forerunner vision can’t allow you to see other players. so I’m guessing it would be used to locate weapons that are on the map and not in the possession of another player and with the “Random” weapon spawning this might help.
>
> With the “random” weapon spawning, I don’t think its how people say it is for example a Rocket Launcher would randomly spawn at the blue team’s base I don’t think that’s how it will work. I think instead of one spawn location there are three A, B and C. each spawn is placed within an appropriate place for both teams to have a chance to get the weapon. This gives a much stepper learning curve from the previous games for those players who had an easy time gaining map control and weapon control. they have to learn the spawn time and spawn location in which the weapon will now spawn at. I think this is better for the competitive Halo player as it gives them more skill then what they had before when they know the spawn time and position of the weapon’s.
By the way thanks for the links.

> How do people not know about this already?
I knew about it but as you can see most the people posting here don’t know and continue to bash with out even searching up info that has already been released.
> How do people not know about this already?

No you misunderstand, I didn’t create a dedicated thread about this same subject. I posted my thoughts in someone else’s. I thank you for creating a more appropriate thread for my post so I quoted my self.
Alright guys let’s all move to NeoGaf, as this so called “official” Halo forum is completely ignored by its creators.
Some faith in 343 has been restored, not that I was ever worried. Seeing his response about the random weapon spawn makes me feel better, though. I honestly think everyone needs to calm down a little and wait for some news on these things.
I find it is funny Frank O Conner will answer ANYTHING ON NEO but won’t respond to any of us on the OFFICIAL 3343i forums.
what a joke

Where did you see this?

> A large part of the reason Frank doesn’t post here is precisely because this is the official forum. Anything he posts here as Frank O’Connor Franchise Development Director of 343 Industries can and will be taken as an official statement from Microsoft.

> Over on NeoGaf he’s just Frankie, on his personal account posting to friends. We should be grateful he posts anywhere, people in similar positions at other studios don’t have anywhere near this level of communication with their fans.
> How do people not know about this already?
B/c they are too busy hating to find the sensible info.

When people say rude stuff like that it’s no wonder he post there and not here beside if you look at the community there they are WAYYY more mature then the people here so i understand why he post there, besides that forum is much bigger then these forums.

most likely the reason.

I didn’t see it anywhere it’s all my own speculation on how these things could possibly work with Franks comments over at NeoGaf. Sorry for the confusion I tried to make it clear through out my post that it was my own speculation by saying “I think”
PS: I’m not trying to be rude either when I say this. a lot of people get confused over peples comments and thats how arguments start.
Nice post here.
But im still not going to use X-Ray or what ever and i still dont like it…
