Does anyone know if this game is running at 60fps on one x? I played the game yesterday on my Series X and it all went fine gameplaywise (ui bugs, matchaking bugs and all but when I got in the gameplay was excelent). Then I came to my GF’s for the weekend where I keep my one x. Downloaded the game, booted it up and now I’m having a hard time landing my shots. The framerate is definetly lower (as one would expect) but I’m used to play even 30fps games without much issue and something about this halo on my one x seems off, when it felt fine on my series x.
Yes, it seems they haven’t properly turned settings down on One X, I’ve been playing all weekend so far and either on the video setting of performance or quality it is terrible and inconsistent frame rate. I hope YouTubers do a tech review of the FPS on Xbox one and one x because it is definitely lower than it should be. The game looks great but obv needs to be tuned down for One X framerate.

You think they might have left the quality of the assets to high? Like they left series x settings for one x and that’s what tanking performance? I’ll take my one x back to my house tomorrow to do some side by side visual testing on the same tv.

There may be some items, particularly physics settings that should be toned down for the weaker Jaguar processor of the One X. I think it can achieve visual parity with Series X on most things but there should cut backs especially on items that use any of the processors so physics and maybe shadows. I hope we get a dynamic 1080p performance option at 60fps and a 30fps dynamic 4k. Honestly, 30 fps in halo infinite isn’t bad but it needs to be rock solid 30 fps. Keep me posted on your results!

Tuning down physics is probably a big overtaking though. Might not be entirely possible; depends on their engine I guess. I’ll check back for sure.
