The game looks a lot like Reach graphically with a lot of unnecessary detail. Please don’t let sacrifice framerate for extravagant detail cause it makes the gameplay suck. The game should run smoothly on split screen with grenades, rockets and all so we don’t have a limit of two players per Xbox again in certain playlists.
From what I have heard, the game won’t run at 60 frames like CoD, but a series-standard 30 frames.
Personally, I don’t have a problem with it.
They dont’ said anything about it, period. Assuming if they ruin the 4 split screen, then I can say it’s half Halo.
I want the framerate to be like halo 3’s. One of the first things I noticed about reach, especially during cutscenes, was the drop in framerate. Halo 3 was a lot smoother, though the graphics were more dated. If they can find a way to optimize framerate and graphical detail that would be fantastic.

It’s always been 30fps since Halo CE. If it chugs during Halo 4, then it’s going to chug really.
But this is bound to happen on a game this late on an unchanged console that is pushing on 7 years old now.

Yes but you are not taking into account that the Halos up until Reach were a smooth 30fps. Whereas Reach is hardly a 30fps at all because dips in frame rate are so common. I am not asking for H4 to be 60fps, I am just asking that H4 be able to run at a smooth 30fps. In other words optimize the engine but don’t try to make the Xbox do what it obviously can’t under gameplay conditions. This means I should not get frame rate drops if someone shoots rockets or throws a grenade and I should not get motion blur when viewing a large area of the map because to many objects are being rendered for the Xbox to handle. Keep in mind I am talking specifically about multiplayer.
I want larger maps with 30 fps than small maps with 60 fps

lol like the previous games, H4 will try to run at the same fps no matter what the size of the map, i.e. 30fps.
