I’m good bro. That comment wasn’t really directed at OP but at the portion of people in this community that say that stuff. So I probably shouldn’t have brought that part up. You right on that.
I agree that’s there’s a lot of problems that need to be fixed. Many of which (I’m looking at you Monetization System) shouldn’t have been issues at all and some haven’t been properly addressed to the community. However, I always call it a win when the devs and corporate suits listen and make needed changes. Even if it starts small with an event like this one. It COULD indicate that there’s more substantial and badly needed changes to reflect the overwhelming concerns the community has with this game.
So I am celebrating both the additional customization I will now have after the event but, even more so, the hope this gives me of the changes still to come.
Also judging by the leaks, this change in the event has kinda thrown their store roadmap for a loop. Hopefully the next thing they change are the prices in the store. $20 for a skin I’m rarely going to see is a hard pass for me.
I think thats on the map but given the state of the beast it might take a while for that part to come to fruition
I hope they take what they did here with the events adn apply the move items from the store to the season pass
Thank you it doesn’t tell you this on the actual game it only gives you 3 dates
no how bout you stop complaining
Why should I? I’m not obedient and have free will and thought and will do as I please my guy. If I’m not satisfied with a game I put money into, I damn well will express my displeasure when I’m let down.
Okay, Scrooge McDuck. Everyone shall be negative like you from now on and say nothing good about the game. No more positive threads will be made.
Good to see some positive things here man, we often forget others deserve holidays and as well with their families. Yes they make games and we play them, ok they could also have support for a 24/7 live product like say a 24/7 mine site has support, I bet they wont pay the money for the people for 24/7 development and customer services.
It is also not the graphic designer or even level designer that is calling the shots, hell even the monitization advisor is not able to pull any strings.
The board of directors say ‘X’ and the bosses instruct the minions to do ‘X’ either do it, or find another job. So to all the minions working on this title, I freaking love you man, hope you are safe and hope you are healthy.
In the end there’s things that can be done rather quickly (like changing the inventory of challenges, Pass items, etc.) because that’s configurable. Then there’s other things that will need actual implementation work (programming), which then needs to be tested and pushed out to servers (and likely client installations too). I see it as a positive sign that they have done some of the easy fixes based on the reception they received.
Does that make the whole game great and 343i a great developer/company? No. Does it show that they are willing to listen. The indication is yes. To how much it will amount - we will see. They mentioned that they’d work on a progression system outside the battle pass but I doubt we’ll see it before season 1 ends.
The list of things to be improved is long - no doubt about that. And I don’t thing they did something worthy of elated praise but we should as a community indicate that the steps they are taking (albeit slowly) are going in the right direction.
Do you mean the helmet from the multiplayer trailer? The one from the Mondo wallpapers? Also how do I get this helmet and it’s armor core?
Apparently it’s returning 6 times total
It’s all in the event pass now
Agreed. But it is on various gaming websites, blogs and other outlets. So not exactly hard info to find.
What’s that? I don’t try to complete challenges or anything I just play for fun.
ehhhh. It should come from 343 tho, in a very clear and easy to understand post. I find a huge issue today, not just in games, is getting information from 3rd parties. There are plenty of “games journalists” who post wrong information in the rush to get out and get clicks. As an older gamer, with friends who are casual, the number of times I have to correct them on something they read on Forbes or Kotaku is really frustrating.
Imagine that! 343 actually did make news about it! Must be hard to do a simple search for it. Kids these days…

I agree, this is a better post, far better than the first one they had explaining the event back in November.
Although the official post still doesn’t give an actual break down of the dates the event will take place, so it still could be better at getting correct information out to the consumer. Even the Youtube video has a poor explanation of the dates the event takes place. Week 2 of 6 is pretty vague, and keeping the event dates that have passed in the Event menu serve no purpose in helping confused gamers knowing the full event dates.
Reading comprehension and context clues are a lost art it seems.
It’s marketing. They should treat it as if everyone is a soft headed numpty.
