Just wanted to shed some light a positive thing 343 did before going on Holiday.
I’m not too sure how many people follow leaks, but if there to be true (we’ll find out here shortly), then the Fracture event got a huge overhaul in offerings for the event pass. It looks like they added the main promotional helmet and other meaningful content in place of the challenge swaps and xp boosts.
There are glaring issues with the game, but if this updated event pass is a preview is the kind of changes they plan on making, then that has me excited to see what they do once they come back. And good on you 343! Ya did good on this one, even if it took two tries!

I am happy that 343 delivered on exactly what they said they were going to do for the Tenrai Event and it is doing at least a bit of good in restoring my confidence in them fixing and delivering more in the near future.

Don’t really care if they added more items if there are still absurd luck based challenges. Getting killing sprees or kills in fiesta turned every lobby on this game mode that was supposed to be fun and silly into absolute sweat fests.
I really hope they added more challenges than just kills and score.

BTB is still broken, melee system is still busted, hit reg busted, desync, cheaters, limited ranked playlists, limited playlists, limited maps that play the same, no custom games browser, broken customs and a whole slew of other problems and you want to come out here praising them over cosmetics?!?!
Getting real sick of this " positivity " while the game doesn’t even F’N work. And I’m getting real sick and tired of people telling us to just enjoy it. How about no? When they do finally fix something instead of patting them on the head and showering them in adulation how about we say " ABOUT TIME! ".

I like the changes, but there are still a couple of issues.
First, radar is real buggy on Fiesta. At first I thought it was just Active Camo giving me grief… after several matches, however, I found the motion tracker rarely ever tracks enemy players unless you first sight them using your own FOV. If you don’t, you can find yourself constantly in a 3v1 ganking all the time, because it never detects them.
I’ve found it hard for enough players to be on the playlist to even start a match. No idea if this is because the first event period turned everybody off, or if it simply doesn’t get a lot of players anyway.
The other issue is you need to play at least 1 Fiesta match BEFORE the event challenges appear, so for that first match, you gain no progression. I would like at least two event challenges to be pinned at the top, in addition to the list of daily/weekly challenges normally shown, even if these are maxed out.

So we could only get to level 7 first time and now we can go up by 10 but there is only two more events lined up? So we can only get to level 27?
Or, we can recognize the other items take more time then a week to fix and take a moment to realize that if these changes to the Tenrai event are the kinds of meaningful changes we can expect going forward, then all our issues will be thoroughly addressed.
Rome didn’t get built in a day and they can’t address anything until they get back from a well deserved Holiday!

hers some advice dont focus on the challenge trust me had this issue back in mcc just playing the game will eventually get the challenges done adn you wont even notivce your doing them

Or I can realize they’ve had 6 years to release this game and the fact they crapped the bed with 4, 5 and MCC. Maybe…JUST MAYBE…343 isn’t the company best suited for Halo bud. They’ve proved it since 2012. 343 ain’t it for Halo. Multiple games with failed launches and we’re told to " stand by and trust the process. "

1st time = 7 levels
2nd time = 17 levels
3rd time = 27 levels
4th time = 30?

Since I missed the first week, I’ll be able to get to 10 this week and 20 the next week, then 30 the final week. Assuming this is 4 week event and not 6.

Specific dates are as follows
Jan 4-Jan 11
Feb 1- Feb 8
Feb 22-Mar 1
Mar 29-Apr 5
Apr 19-Apr 26
Total remaining days 35, so you can do 7 challenges each week for 4 weeks, then do 2 challenges the last week. In other words, if you missed the first week, you can only miss 5 challenges from now on.

In theory, you could complete 24 of the 30 ranks within a single week (probably more).
I just started playing the event today and, by using just one Challenge Swap, have reached Tenrai Rank 4 by completing its special challenges.

yeah like I cant even keep count of how many times I raged trying to do a challenge only to get little or no progress for it
just playing the game and not focusing on the challenge really helps a lot

Or, you could have a realistic view of game development and be more understanding… Bud. 
6 years of development, most of which was spent creating the slip space engine (probably forgot), and part of it spent pivoting after 2020 E3 and a new director. Bugs happen when releasing at scale and all things considered, Halo Infinite had the imo best AAA launch of 2021 and released in a better state than it’s other main competitors.
The Tenrai event is more then fine now, and you’re complaining isn’t relevant to the topic of the event pass. The changes made were positive ones, and shows they are listening and implemented something in the time they had before break. Now when they get back, I expect we will see more positive changes to the common complaints as they laid out in their end of year update!

Unfortunately for me to get the helmet I have to grind them all this week. Not usually how I like to play tbh, but I hate the base set yori but like it otherwise.
