So, I have completed all the weekly challenges this week and my progression in the Fracture: Tenrai Event has only gotten to level 7. I understand the reasoning of returning at later weeks for the Event, but if there are only 3 weeks for this Event, is it even possible for me to obtain level 30? If there are around 7 weekly challenges for the Tenrai Event each week, then I may only reach level 21 of the Event by the end even if I complete every challenge. I’m sure some have already posted to the forum relating to this subject, but is anyone else experiencing these concerns?
I’m not really sure how they’ll make up the 9 levels but it’s stupid, if you so desire to grind for it you should be allowed to complete the event pass in a week, especially with how slow you’re drip-fed the items in the pass.
Not concerned, it’s probably in another week there are more xp in the weekly challenges, Hardly think 343 would only account for 21 levels and no way of unlocking the rest. Wouldn’t worry about it
I didn’t know if others had more challenges available to them this week or not also. Actually I just found that it may be returning for a total of 5 weeks. If that’s the case, then there should be plenty of opportunity.
I just wanted to add that after finishing two Tenrai challenges yesterday, I haven’t gotten anymore Tenrai challenges which means that I haven’t been able to progress any further in the event. So there’s another flaw or possibly by design to drag it out? I don’t know… everything is speculation at this point
Its to drag it out that’s why they listed the times for it to come back
Why drag it out? why not finish it sooner… and then release something new and fresh later?
What an odd strategy by 343… I might not even be playing multiplayer that much in January lol there’s going to much better things to be playing than grinding Infinite’s “dragged” out progressions.
Because it gets us to come back with fomo
Something they said they wouldn’t do
And I hate how that’s the case as when I played with 343 they were cool people and addressed my most of my issues with them handling halo 4 and 5’s gameplay and Artstyle
Like halo infinite has the potential of being the best halo and it pains me that these types of decisions are being made
The unlockable content of the Event is another issue. I admit, I have already bought the season pass and a bundle from the store which I justified by the game being free and also the customization offered in the store has been awesome. I have never minded customization offered through payment in games, especially in a free to play model because I can choose whether or not to purchase.
PN4R on Reddit brought up some interesting points about the Tenrai Event unlockables though:
<“So there’s 30 tiers, 10 of them being XP bonuses and 6 of them being challenge swaps.
Out of the 14 tiers remaining which includes ‘‘actual’’ content, 4 of them is a single emblem that you need to unlock 4 times to be able to use it everywhere.
Out of the 10 remaining, you unlock 3 color palettes that are lock this specific armor.
Out of the 7 remaining, you get 1 stupid callsign backdrop that most people will forget.
So out of the 30 tiers for this event, you only get 6 armor parts, 2 of which are the same shoulder pad that you need to unlock 2 times for both shoulders.”> Blockquote
I’m unable to post the link for reference, but Reddit user was PN4R on the Halo Infinite Event | Fractures: Tenrai Megathread of r/halo.
I do understand why some are angry, but also understand 343’s approach to this free to play game and I will still be returning the following weeks of the event to happily complete and earn my cool customization.
