So far we’ve had two Fracture events, each with their own armour core. I quite like the armour cores but I have a big problem with them. Neither the Yoroi nor the Eaglestrike armour cores change when I change ‘Body type’ option. I would have thought that having had the problem reported for the Yoroi core it wouldn’t be a problem with the Eaglestrike core.
That’s because the outer armor doesn’t change, and the inner body isn’t really observable. So you’re basically changing how large your “corn core” is of your ear of corn.
…I mean just look at it. It’s damn near Fallout 4 power armor in size.
It might not be obvious, but on the other cores there is a difference. With the Yoroi and the Eaglestrike there’s absolutely no change at all.
I think the idea is that they arent supoosed to be skin tight like the other cores. I coukd be wrong.
That’s probably intended. These Fracture cores are modelled more like “Plate armor” and realistically it just covers the body so much to the point body shape isn’t really recognizable. For example, you can’t really tell a male or female is wearing a full set of Medival Plate Armor unless it’s purposefully shaped.
The Eaglestrike doesn’t have armour on the abdomen or the arms, and the Yoroi isn’t fully encased in armour either.
All I said was that it was probably, like Yoroi, modelled using a “plate armor” like template. Don’t like it, don’t use it.
