I started playing MCC again after maybe 6 months of not playing and there are terrible FPS drops that never happened before. I downloaded afterburner to view the problem but it was gone that day. Still not as smooth as I would like, but playable. The day after the problem is back, and now it’s been 2 days. I checked My GPU usage in the MSI afterburner, it drops to 0% when the FPS drops. CPU is stuck below 30%. I believe the bottleneck is the issue and, if it is, I want to know how to resolve it. My NVIDIA drivers are up to date. The process is set to HIGH priority. My halo graphics are set to “performance”. Also, no other games are an issue: Doom Eternal, Overwatch. Oddly, my Logitech hero mouse input delays were resolved when I installed the MSI afterburner for the first time. As mentioned before, this also fixed my MCC for a day. My mouse problem suddenly occurred in May. I wonder if my hardware utilization is bugged somehow.
