Have you noticed that in the teasser trailer the Master Chief is using its Mjolnir VI armor? … So the FUT web series is going to be prior Halo 4?

I dont think so, theres no place in blank in the Halo 2 campaing, maybe the series is going to tell us what happen while the master Chief was in the cryo tube and how did he get the Mjorlnir Armor VII…
It is confirmed that Master Chief is NOT wearing MK. VII in Halo 4. He IS wearing MK. VI. The reason it looks different is because 343i took their artistic direction and changed it, to make it look more realistic and believable.
As for MC in FuD, he is wearing MK. IV

Forward Unto Dawn takes place from the beginning of the the Covenant War up until the events of Halo 4. Chief is wearing Mark IV from the Halo Legends episode, The Package, though it does look very similar to the Mark VI.
Also, Chief is wearing Mark VI in Halo 4, it looks different because of the new graphics and 343’s art style. There is no reason for change rather than the graphical upgrade, just like the Elites, Grunts and pretty much everything else has changed over the previous Halo games.

According to my knowledge the armor he is wearing in Halo 4 is a Mark VII, i remmember that 343 confirmed that he is wearing a different armor from H3… i just want to know if the series is going to take place on the prior events of H4

Its an upgraded version
While in cryo, Cortana upgraded the firmware, which changed the HUD. Then there is apparently some basic nanobot technology, which helped upgrade the physical design in some areas.
It is the Mk VI because the Chief still has that gash across his chest.
Other changes to the armor are from 343i’s artistic design. It is still Mk VI, upgraded canonically and artistically.
And Forward Unto Dawn takes place before Halo 4.
Its a story about how the Master Chief inspires a young cadet, who will later become a leader aboard the UNSC Infinity.

343 haven’t confirmed that. Mark VII armour has only been mentioned in Dr Halsey’s Journal and in Halo Glasslands, where Naomi-010 was given it. This is also where Phillips mentions the Nano-tech features the armour has, which allows it to upgrade and repair itself during Cryo (note that he is talking about the Mark VII armour, not Mark VI).
At the beginning of Halo 4, Cortana wakes Chief up because the Covenant have started boarding the ship and she mentions to Chief that she’s upgraded his firmware (his HUD). Chief’s wakes up with the armour we have seen in every Halo 4 picture, and there is no way Chief’s armour has been upgraded during cryo. Even if Cortana did somehow upgrade it, why would she leave the large scratch across the front of his armour?
Sorry, but Chief’s “new” armour is the armour he’s been wearing for the last 7 years.

I was under the impression that FUD will take place leading up to Halo 4. I could be wrong but im pretty sure that was announced somewhere.

In Halo 4’s campaign, the Chief is wearing an artistically and canonically upgraded Mk VI (Halo 3) suit.
In Forward Unto Dawn, the Chief wears Mk IV.
