BTW halo support is not responding.
Having the same issue, everything is showing connected, restarted the game and logged in and out of both twich and waypoint multiple times with no luck. Gotta love technology…
Does it show “…” for your twitch account in HaloWaypoint settings page?
I found the fix and it worked I will edit my original post and add to the thread.
BTW thanks to redacted For not even attempting to help and just forwarding me to the multiplayer side.
He just denied support on email about two minutes ago.
No it shows my Twitch user name.
Both of them are in the history.
Workaround. If your drops do not show it will not show EVER! Once it is redeemed on twitch it will never show if it does not show on waypoint at Halowaypoint.com>Click on the user on the upper right profile pic>Click on redeem code>Click on history. If it doesn’t show refresh the page 1 time. If it does not show you cannot get your skin. It’s not a wait and see thing. It just won’t work. Check why for a potential reason why this is happening however I am not an engineer. To fix this:

Log into your twitch and click on the upper right profile pick. Click on Settings>Connections and unlink your twitch account.

Go to halo waypoint.com and log in. Click on the upper right hand picture for your profile. Click setttings. Click unlink.

Start another twitch before the 19th of December. Go back to waypoint and relink your new twitch account to your waypoint. Check to see if it shows your account name. If it doesn’t or it does it doesn’t matter log out log back in and check to see if it shows your name on linked accounts on waypoint. If it keeps showing “…” instead of showing your full user name from twitch either now or when you log back in you may have to relink. I didn’t need to do anything else except log out and back in to be able to get it to show the new twitch instead of “…”. After I linked the new twitch it showed “…” I had to log out and log back in, I kept this page open while I…

Went to twitch. Verified that my account was linked on the new twitch to 343i on the twitch connections page from step #1. It shows the 343i connection instead of waypoint. 343i maintains the waypoint website.

Watch the hour you need from the stream that you desire the drop from. When the hour is up verify that waypoint is not showing “…” at all. It needs to full your full username before you click redeem on twitch. Then go back to twitch click redeem on the drops page on twitch.

Verify that the desired drop is showing up on waypoint. Go to waypoint where you are already signed in. Click on the upper right hand picture for your profile. Click on redeem a code. Then check your history, refresh. It should show the armor or weapon coating or both. Waypoint gives you the drop not twitch.

Why this happens. I don’t know. However I texted my buddy and asked if he had gotten his drops. He said he did. We went through the connections at waypoint and twitch. The emails were different and the twitch was linked to my xbox live however both those things did not matter in hindsight. All that mattered was the waypoint and twitch. His waypoint had his username while mine had “…” I logged out and logged back in and it was hard stuck on “…”. It showed on waypoint under linked accounts for twitch it showed “…” for username instead of the actual username in full.
For previous drops moving forward. Is it possible for 343i waypoint team to redeem the drop for you? No. This is a problem with the linking between twitch and waypoint. Will they fix this for just you? Probably not. They would have to give them to everyone. Also they would need to claim that there is a problem. They have not.
Yep, this worked. I got the Armor and Weapon coatings this time, phew.
It’s probably easier to search the redeem page on HaloWaypoint for “HCS Launch” since it’s in some random order.
Also, if Halo Infinite is running, quit and relaunch it.

Thanks to the people that helped me. I first linked my Twitch account to my Xbox. Then I linked my Twitch account to my Waypoint. Then I let the stream play on HALO official for an hour, checked redeem history on Waypoint, it was there. I then resetted Halo Infinite and the skins were there.
I then « watched » Cloakzy’s stream for an hour, did the same steps after, and my coatings were there.
Everything seems to work really well if you follow the steps carefully.
I’m testing a new Twitch account now for my secondary having linked it to HW with the new Twitch account name showing. Everything looks good so far on my secondary account; and my main account has everything linked correctly, streams watched, claimed and shows redeemed on HW.
I think my theory on a previous thread (and the one you also mentioned above) about the Twitch account name must be showing in HW (rather than “…”) must be correct and true.
I’ll post back tomorrow once my streams have completed viewing and attempted to claim the drops, but it’s looking like the fix is simply to make sure your Twitch account name is displayed correctly in HW.

Thanks saltedcheez. The funny thing is I found the problem and the solution. I am too upset to deal with this anymore. I had heard that other people had a problem with this and wanted to help. I was glad when I got the issue now I am just disappointed in support. Bravo forwarded me its sad support isn’t what it used to be.
Tested and confirmed with secondary account by watching, claiming and redeeming the HCS armour coatings. Will be doing the same for the HCS weapon coatings shortly, but don’t care about Milk nameplate as it’s pretty crap anyway! 
Basically the fix is as expected…make sure your Twitch account name is displayed in full on HaloWaypoint and not just “…”. That’s all there is too it for the accounts to be correctly linked and for drops to work 

I tried doing this step by step…made the new twitch and once linked and verified “…” was not showing i began watching the stream and went to the drop page and it said my drops were already claimed on the new twitch account…

Yes but all is not lost. Just start a new twitch account get them then burn it. You have to watch when they go live.
