Where are the rules? Is it explained somewhere? I don’t understand. How is watching Twitch unlocking stuff on your account if it’s not via code?

You link your Twitch to your 343 account here: https:// www.halowaypoint.com/en-gb/settings/linked-accounts
343i then appears under connections in your twitch account here: https:// www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
When you claim in your Drop Inventory, it should tell 343i via the connection.

And then when you watch for an hour you go to drops and redeem it through the drops page. Then after a couple minutes it shows on waypoint under redeemed and it will show in game.
It needs to be linked at waypoint (the problem comes from the twitch unlinking the account showing a … instead of the username) check your connections on twitch 343i should be at the bottom. Check to make sure your progress is being showed on the drops section when it is redeemable hit redeem then check redeemed on waypoint then finally the game.
I got the weapons coating (almost) imidiately after completing the 1 hour.
After the drop is complete, click on drop and then it opens a screen where you click on the one the drop unlocked (for me the weapon skins).
After that, it should load in your game. I opened it after a couple of mins. The skins is only for BR, AR and SK

@The_Contact I was replying to @AMAX_Reptile they didn’t know why it could unlock anything without a code to redeem on Halowaypoint.
I had “…” for the twitch account, I logged out of HaloWaypoint and back into it and now it shows my twitch username, give that a go, it’ll at least get rid of the “…”.
Mine tracked the time alright and I clicked claim, but it’s not apparently gotten into my Halo Infinite game (have restarted it multiple times).
I wonder if our accounts weren’t properly linked and our claims have fallen into the ether.

Yes that is what I am saying. File a support ticked and name each other.
I can confirm this is the problem. If you redeem with a … next to your name it will not redeem. You have to unlink your account from the twitch end and relink on the waypoint end for it to work. I had to log out and log back in.
Will try, but I did that before for never getting the HCS Animated Emblem in Halo 5: Guardians for HCS London 2018 and they just closed the ticket saying they were unable to help.

Yeah ACE but I AM. lol I got you. So I am trying to use another twitch. Create a new email and make another twitch account and link that one to 343i.
To make this work unlink your current twitch from 343 from the twitch side. Go to waypoint unlink. Create the new twitch. Link the twitch to your 343 from the waypoint side. Confirm at waypoint that it is not a … and that it is the new twitch. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT SHOWING DOTS INSTEAD OF THE USERNAME ON WAYPOINT CONTINUE TO LOG OUT AND LOG BACK IN ON WAYPOINT UNTIL IT DOES. Twitch confirm at the bottom of connections on twitch it will show as 343i.
Now everything is linked rewatch the stream I am 23% in.
THIS IS A BUG WITH WAYPOINT BUT IT COULD BE A TWITCH PROBLEM TOO.

Yeah looks like the only way to get the Twitch drops if your account didn’t create correctly is to hoax it into another account.

Can’t confirm for myself if this works yet. Can anyone confirm?
Nope but it makes sense. As it stands, my claimed drops on Twitch will never appear on HW as it showed “…” on HW despite it saying connected on both…so the only option seems to link it to a different Twitch account. I have a feeling they may have to be the same email address to link so it may not work.
I could kick myself as my Twitch name did display correctly before I relinked it, and only did so because the Milk drop failed the other day

I can confirm that it does not need to be the same email. If it shows as “…” instead of your twitch name on waypoint sign out and sign back in to waypoint with your xbox account or whatever and check again if it doesn’t work relink. Just make sure YOU DO NOT HIT REDEEM ON TWITCH UNTIL IT SHOWS YOUR NAME ON WAYPOINT.

Hm, I have dots but aftzer a few seconds it shows my username. do you mean that? Should it display my name immediately?
Yeah I absolutely agree with the last bit in CAPS 
If it EVER shows … that means unlinked.
I’ve got mine directly. I had to restart the game and then it was there. But 1h for one Coating/Stance/whatever …
If you could check your redeemed on waypoint for us to see if it shows on your code redemption history. Let us know.
I have the armor coating but not the weapon coating. I am trying another twitch as after you hit redeem you are locked out from RE redeeming. So you need to watch another hour on another twitch account.
