Found a way to make the game look better

Do what I did, crank your brightness on your TV/Monitor to damn near max, you’ll have to adjust it back down for other games/activities but it makes this game look better.

Seriously why is this game so dark?

I had to turn mine down… plus minimize saturation, in order to make it not glow like a radioactive lightbulb.

that glare in the forge maps tho…

oh…I was gonna say LSD

I know right? It’s awful. I absolutely hate it.

I was expecting something along the lines of smear petroleum jelly on your eyes, close them, put a blindfold on, and then jump off a cliff.

I am, however, happy with how H5 looks overall.

What would make the game look better in nearly every damn area would be to use decent texture filtering, an effect that could be implemented if 343 understood resource management better.

Basically, texture filtering removes the blurring effect on textures when they are viewed from obtuse angles. Instead 343 prioritized ambient occlusion and other effects such as bloom + HDR and completely forgot about decent texture filtering.
