Okay, but it doesn’t say anything about it being exclusive or not.

Skins are not Armor Pieces, they are a pattern that goes onto Armor Pieces, they are in a way decals that can be colored.
Armor Pieces are still Armor Pieces. And they are their own thing, separate from Skins.
Hopefully bs angel addresses this confusion and confirms the rumors about LE getting the two helmets and emblem from the season pass in tonight’s bulletin.
It would also be nice if she gave any official confirmation to whether or not they will be releasing all pre-order content to everyone some time after launch.

Seeing as you must wear certain armour pieces with certain skins, it’s like they are attached, and essentially one armour variant. Hazop ALOY is a set of armour that is exclusive, but Hazoo ALOY is also an armour skin. The normal Hazop is essentially Hazop with a default skin so it doesn’t need the 4-letters after. I get what you’re saying but basically when they advertise an armour skin, they advertise a variant of armour because one goes with the other.
> WOW…if that is the case that the FOTUS is no longer an exclusive to the console than that sucks…essentially FOTUS went the way of the Recruit…said to be exclusive and than bam…everyone can have it
Protip: 343i NEVER ONCE just said “Recruit Armor” when they were talking about exclusive content for the LE. They ONLY said it was the skin ever. They just had to explain it to everyone that jumped to conclusions afterward. So no, they never once falsely advertised the LE version.
But in the case of Fotus armour, it actually HAS been advertised that the armor itself is exclusive to the console, not just a skin. So this is actually remotely frustrating.

Skins ARE armor pieces. They are no different then the helmet variants from Reach.
The default piece has one pattern, the “skin” version has a different pattern.
Remember the Recon you got from getting Reach? Exact same thing as all this skin business.
Buying from Walmart? Congratulations, you get Oceanic CRCT armor, but not base Oceanic.
You are implying that you cannot use Oceanic CRCT without the base Oceanic but that is absolutely not the case. Separate entities.

And what has 343 done?
Regardless.
So far the ONLY changes to that list are Specialization Access to early SE players and Map Pack content in the LE.

That’s to show what the Skin looks like on Armor, I’m 99.99% sure that Skin’s are their own thing, and Armor Pieces are their own thing.

So far 343 has caused allot of confusion among their community.
The new Bonus says Armor skin for the Console.
Now till someone give out a link that is actually CLOSE TO DATE. And it states Fotus is exclusive to Console buyers and that was just a misunderstanding, Then we can put this thread to rest.

The “skins” are a variant of the armor. If you have a download code you’ll get your fotus with an excluzive LE skin and everyone else will have to earn regular Fotus.

So we get recruit skin now???
Also 343 stated that the stuff that comes with the LE & LE Console will stay exclusive.

Do me a favor: List 343’s offenses.
> The new Bonus says Armor skin for the Console.
From third parties and MS. MS who already failed once at accuracy.

rubs temples
So basically you think there’s a monster in the closet and you want dad/mom to come in and make sure it’s not there.

It already is straightened out.
The little table from the Bulletin I linked is accurate save for the fact that early SE players get Full Specialization Access and that LEs now get the bonus content from the standalone map pack.
