FOTUS is NOT exclusive to the console?

UPDATE: I changed the thread title to better reflect the most likely scenario. The “armor skin” that the console comes with is probably still FOTUS. However, the lack of officially advertising it as “exclusive armor” leads my to think that everyone can unlock FOTUS. My best guess is it could be the “reward” for maxing out your rank at SR-130. Again, I’m just pointing this out for people to consider this possibility before paying/trading an arm and a leg for something that they might get anyway.

So with all this talk about people wanting to trade for the FOTUS armor I though I might point this out if some of you haven’t noticed this yet.

It certainly appears that, like the LE recruit armor, the FOTUS armor may not even be exclusive to the console.

That’s BS. I’m not getting the Console, but Microsoft has been advertising FOTUS as a exclusive armor until now.

Did you even read the thread? No where in ANY of the product listings does it say you get an armor set - ONLY an armor SKIN. It is the same change they also made to the LE edition when they took out the recruit armor set.

I didn’t pre-order the console because I wanted FOTUS armor, I pre-ordered it because I need a new 360.

That’s definitely strange, first the LE’s war games map pass get’s changed to include the helmets and emblem, now it’s saying console buyers get a skin and not armor…

WOW…if that is the case that the FOTUS is no longer an exclusive to the console than that sucks…essentially FOTUS went the way of the Recruit…said to be exclusive and than bam…everyone can have it

My guess is the FOTUS is the "reward for hitting SR-130. At least they marked the price down $50 for anyone getting the console.

Same though I have the reach console and the arcade console, I just want this one because it looks so awesome and I can’t stop myself for getting collectable halo stuff :smiley:

I noticed that it says skin. That’s weird. I didn’t know that the LE console had a skin.

Same here. Was never planning on getting it but when I noticed a lot of people wanting to trade for the FOTUS armor, I figured I’d point this out.

Are you being serious? Are people buying the console for an armor? I bought mine without knowing it came with ANY DLC. That much money soley for the armoris stupid, sorry. Seriously, think about it and listen to yourselves.
